Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Dmytro Gryn, an independent developer based
in Ukraine ("we", "us"), covering The Deep Dice at
deepdice.gryn.dev and the iOS and Android apps
published under com.deepdice.game (together, "the game"). Playing the game means
you accept them. If you do not, do not play.
1. The game is free
The Deep Dice costs nothing, contains no advertising and sells nothing — no purchases, no subscriptions, no currency. Everything in the game is earned by playing it. If that ever changes, it will change in a future version, announced before it arrives, and never retroactively for progress you already earned.
2. Who may play
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to terms like these on your own, you need your parent's or guardian's permission until you reach it.
3. Your account
An anonymous account is created for you on first launch — you do not register and you do not choose a password. You may link it to a Google account or an email address so that your progress survives a lost device.
- An account belongs to one person. Do not share it, sell it or trade it.
- Keep your sign-in method safe. Anyone who can sign in as you can play as you and can delete your progress.
- An anonymous account you never link is tied to the device and its recovery key. Lose both and the progress is gone — we cannot restore it, because nothing connects that account to you.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
4. Fair play
The game is single-player, but the leaderboards are shared, and that makes some things everyone's business. Do not:
- modify the game, tamper with saved data, or call our servers with anything other than the game itself, in order to gain progress or a leaderboard position;
- automate play with bots or scripts;
- use a display name that is abusive, obscene, hateful, impersonates someone else, or would be illegal to publish;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, or try to reach data that is not yours;
- copy, redistribute or resell the game's code or artwork, or create derivative works from them, except where the law grants you that right regardless.
We may remove a display name, clear a score, reset a leaderboard, or suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why.
5. What belongs to whom
The game — its code, art, music, text, name and look — belongs to us and remains ours. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play it for your own enjoyment, and nothing more.
The one thing you contribute is your display name. By setting one you allow us to show it publicly in the leaderboards for as long as the account exists. You keep whatever rights you had in it.
6. Availability, changes and progress
The game is provided as it is, by one developer. We may change it, rebalance it, add or remove content, take it down for maintenance, or stop running it altogether. We try not to lose anyone's progress, and the game is built so that progress lives on the server rather than on your device — but we do not guarantee that saved data will always survive, and you should not treat it as something of value that cannot be lost.
If we discontinue the game entirely, we will give notice on this site where we reasonably can.
7. Ending it
You can stop playing at any time and have your account erased through the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, or if we are required to by law. Sections 5, 8, 9 and 11 survive the end of this agreement.
8. No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from errors. Some jurisdictions do not allow such exclusions; where that is the case, this section applies only as far as the law permits.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost progress, or for loss arising from your inability to use the game. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.
10. Apps installed from a store
If you installed the game from the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms apply alongside these. Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the game, for its content, or for supporting it. Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim about the app — including a claim that it infringes someone's intellectual property — is ours to answer, not theirs. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a United States embargo, and are not on any United States list of prohibited or restricted parties.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of your own country, and may bring proceedings there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and a material change will be announced in the game before it takes effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, delete your account.
