Delete your account
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This page is for players of The Deep Dice (web, and the iOS and Android
apps published under com.deepdice.game) who want their account and everything
saved under it erased. Deletion is free, and you do not need an account on any other service
to ask for it.
This cannot be undone
Your experience, levels, skill tree, achievements, daily challenge history and leaderboard entries are erased with the account. There is no backup to restore from. If you only want to leave the leaderboards, change your display name in the game's settings instead — that costs you nothing.
How to request it
Your player identifier
Detected from the game session in this browser. Include it in your request — it is what identifies the account to us.
Send an email to d@gryn.dev with the subject Account deletion, and include:
- your player identifier, if this page showed you one, or your in-game display name;
- which platform you play on — web, iOS or Android.
If your account is linked to a Google account or an email address, send the request from that address. That is how we confirm the account is yours, and we cannot delete an account on the word of someone we cannot match to it.
Not sure whether you ever linked your account? Open the game, go to Settings → Account: a linked account shows the email address it is linked to. If it shows none, your account is anonymous — send us the player identifier shown above, if this page found one, or your display name, and tell us which platform you played on.
What happens next
- We confirm the account is yours, and reply if anything is unclear.
- We delete it within 30 days of confirming the request, usually much sooner.
- We email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your account in Firebase Authentication, including the linked email address and sign-in method.
- Your saved game: progress, experience, skill tree, achievements, daily challenge results, settings, and your display name.
- Your rows in every leaderboard.
- The stored hash of your recovery key, which makes the key useless afterwards.
What is kept, and for how long
- The request itself — the email you sent and our reply, for up to twelve months, as proof that we acted on it. Then it is deleted too.
- Analytics events already sent to Google Analytics. They carry your player identifier and no name or email, they are marked as non-personalised, and Google deletes them automatically at the end of our property's retention period. On request we will also ask Google to delete the events recorded under your identifier.
- Server logs, which may contain the IP addresses of past requests until they rotate out. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Nothing else is kept.
Deleting the app is not the same thing
Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser data removes the game from your device but leaves your account on our servers, so that reinstalling brings your progress back. Only a request on this page erases it.
